# Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to quotations, work and certification carried out by Harrison E Jones Heating.

## 1. Who we are
Harrison E Jones Heating, 25 Bardley Cres, Tarbock Green, Liverpool L35 1RJ. Gas Safe registered business: registration no. 576059, licence no. 3715984. Contact: 07523 738285 · info@harrisonejonesheating.co.uk. Opening hours: Mon–Sun, 8:30am–5:30pm.

## 2. Quotations and prices
Prices are given as a fixed written figure for the work described in the quotation. Advertised prices, including new boilers fully fitted from £1,299, are starting prices that depend on the appliance chosen and the work your property requires. A quotation covers only the work set out in it.

If, once work begins, something is found that was not reasonably visible at survey, for example concealed pipework, a defect in an existing system or a change required for compliance: we will stop, explain it and agree any additional cost with you before continuing.

## 3. Booking and access
You agree to provide safe access to the property, the appliance and any isolation points at the agreed time, together with electricity and water supply as needed. Where access is not available at the arranged time, we may need to rearrange the appointment.

## 4. The work we carry out
All gas work is carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer and certified in line with current regulations. We will register the manufacturer warranty for a new appliance on your behalf where the manufacturer's scheme allows it. Where a system requires cleansing, inhibitor or filtration to protect a new appliance, that requirement will be set out in the quotation.

## 5. Warranties and existing systems
A new appliance is covered by its manufacturer's warranty, on the manufacturer's terms, which usually require annual servicing to remain valid. Our responsibility is for the work we have carried out. We cannot accept responsibility for the future condition of existing pipework, radiators, controls or fittings that we have not supplied or replaced, or for faults caused by the failure of those existing components.

## 6. Payment
Payment terms are those stated on your quotation or invoice. Invoices reflect the agreed fixed price together with any additional work you approved during the job.

## 7. Cancellation
If you book work as a consumer away from our premises you have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days. Where you ask us to begin work within that period, for example an urgent breakdown or a boiler installation booked immediately: you may be charged for work already carried out if you then cancel. Please tell us as early as possible if you need to cancel or rearrange.

## 8. Complaints
If something is not right, contact us on 07523 738285 or at info@harrisonejonesheating.co.uk with your address and the details, and we will respond and put right anything that falls within the work we carried out.

## 9. Website content
Information on this website is provided for general guidance about our services. It does not replace a site survey, and any price shown is subject to a quotation for your property. Nothing on this website forms a contract until we have issued a quotation and you have accepted it.

## 10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute falls to the courts of England and Wales.
